POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN YOGA THERAPY

Overview:

A Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT) is a one-year and six month internship course that teaches students how to use yoga as a therapy to treat various health conditions. The course includes both theoretical and practical components, and covers a range of topics, including:

Yoga philosophy
Yoga therapy
Naturopathy fundamentals and treatments
Human anatomy and physiology
Applications of yoga and naturopathy
Health education
Personal hygiene
Food, nutrition, and diet

Eligibility:

Candidates with Bachelor degree in Yoga, Medical and other related health sciences - Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy, Audiology, Speech Language Pathology, Psychology, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Allied Health Sciences.

The scope of P.G.D.Y.T program:

With the growing need for trained professionals in medical and rehabilitative care, job opportunities are wide in India and Abroad – Schools, Special Schools, Hospitals, Industries, NGOs working with differently abled, Community based health centres, independent practice.

Duration:

1 year and 6 months

25 students.
