This Post Graduate Diploma in Early Intervention is offered by the Department of Speech Language pathology. This one-year intensive diploma is designed to equip with the knowledge and skills you need to become an effective trainer and therapist in early childhood education, educating infants, toddlers and young children and their families.
Upon completion of the course, the professionals have a scope of working in pediatric units of hospitals, pediatric clinics, child guidance clinics, risk follow-up clinics, child development centers, and rural primary health centers in district health centers.
Candidates who have passed: M.B.B.S./BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BNYS or Equivalent Degree BOT/BPT/BASLP/B.Ed-SE/ or Equivalent Degree B.Sc Nursing Post Graduate in Psychology/Social Work/Special Education/Child Development or Equivalent Degree. 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations. Relaxation in the qualifying marks shall be as per rules and regulations of Govt. of Puducherry.
