On occasion of World Hearing Day' 2024, Department of Audiology, School of Rehabilitation and Behavioural Sciences (SRBS-VMRF(DU) , Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital conducted various awareness and outreach programmes on the theme 'Changing mindsets: let's make ear and hearing care a reality for all!' as directed by World Health Organization. The activities are as follows: 1. Hearing screening and Awareness talk on Hearing care for Regular mobile phone users at Sky mobile & electronics on 29th February' 2024. 2. Ear and Hearing camp and Awareness at OP block, AVMC &H by Dept of ENT and Dept of Audiology for all visitors on 2nd March ' 2024. 3. Hearing screening and Awareness for Elderly at Puduvai Sun trust and old age home on 4th March' 2024. 4. Awareness Rally at Pondicherry Rock beach on 9th March' 2024.
